Dragonstar awoke with a jolt. His usually smooth, clean black fur was standing on ends; his limbs were shaking uncontrollably. It had almost felt as though another presence had been with him, another cat...he shook his head. I must be imagining things... He thought to himself.
What had the fog and darkness meant? Dragonstar shivered. He knew what he had gotten into when he became leader. Omens had never scared him. Until now...

An ominous presence was stealthily watching as the WindClan leader drifted off into a strange, sudden sleep. Spending little time wondering what had induced the slumber, he instead pondered how best to assasinate the leader. He took in the strange fog that had drifted in from smoewhere, and the lack of cats. The shadow was tempted to strike now, early, but decided against it: now was not the time; he wanted cats to know what had happened to their leader. Stalking carefully back out of the den, Ravenstar pondered his next move.

Dragonstar receives a sign (Open)

Dragonstar padded out to the center of camp. It was a grassy clearing, surrounded by heather bushes. The tom yawned a few times, still drowsy from sleep. Grabbing a rabbit from the fresh-kill pile, he strutted off to a shady corner. Laying down, the cat bit into the rabbit. Warm blood seeped onto his tongue; he spat some of it out. Suddenly, Dragonstar felt very sleepy...This is strange. He thought as he drifted off to sleep.
Dragonstar was running. He didn't know what he was running from, or if he was just running for the joy of it. The leader's mind was not working properly...the feline relized how dark it was. There was a gray fog curling around him, making the world he was in seem fake. Dragonstar felt the dream fading away...but he knew he needed more signs...he needed to find out what the darkness and fog meant...if they meant anything, that was...
